Die-hard college football fans already know the most famous Pflugrad in the sport is not Griz coach Robin Pflugrad, but rather his daughter Amanda. The former Oregon cheerleader won the hearts of sports bloggers during her co-ed days, and now works as a reporter for Fox Sports Arizona.
Her job puts her in the position of reporting on her brother, Aaron, who plays wide receiver at Arizona State University. And, to complete the Montana connection, Aaron catches passes from former Kalispell standout and current ASU starting quarterback Brock Osweiler.
Anyway, the video below features Amanda and Aaron spoofing the recent Ryan Reynolds/Jason Bateman comedy, The Change-Up, by switching roles. Aaron becomes a broadcaster; Amanda plays wide receiver. And Brock plays a prominent part. I have no idea how this factored into Fox Sports Arizona's broadcast schedule, or why, but it's a nice alternative to the Griz game.
(Oh, and be sure to check out Amanda's "Growing up on the Sidelines." She explains how she was born in Missoula on the day the Griz upset No. 1 Nevada, and what it was like being raised in a football family.)
