A quick guide to the Whitefish reggae blues explosion.

1. The University of Oregon's Ethos Magazine interviewed the band last year, giving a glimpse into the energy of their live set:

Drummer John Hoagland said their plan for UO's Bandest of the Bands was "Just to have fun, I mean, the chemistry is so good and everyone’s such phenomenal musicians. The chemistry just kind of explodes on stage, so we don’t have to do anything but show up, really, which sounds really horrible."

2. They will make you dance, and you will like it. See:

4. They're playing Indy Fest later TODAY at Caras Park.

Indy Fest starts at 2 p.m. TODAY at Caras Park, rain or shine. Admission is free and there's food, drinks and, duh, live music. We've been profiling the bands all week.
