Fairmont is the ultimate family splash zone. With a 350-foot tubular water slide spitting you into a 90-degree-plus outdoor pool, a game room, and a mini-zoo, it’s perfect for the kids.
But the adults will find Fairmont attractive as well. During the summer season, one can enjoy any tropical drink favorite at the outdoor pool bar. There’s also the Massage Studio, offering complete spa services, and a 6,741-yard, 18-hole par 72 golf course. The ‘mile high, mile long’ 5th hole may be one of the most challenging in the state of Montana.
And of course, the two mineral soaking pools and two over-sized Olympic swimming pools fed by a supply of 155-degree natural hot water make Fairmont pretty irresistible. All the pools are open year round. Resort guests even have 24-hour access to the pools.
Fairmont Hot Springs is at the end of a short, scenic drive to Georgetown Lake, Discovery Ski Area (can’t think of anything much better after a full day of skiing than a soak in a piping-hot mineral pool), and a Montana-fishing-favorite, the Big Hole River. Look for the Gregson-Fairmont exit on Interstate 90 in Anaconda, and follow the signs.
