Art Museum of Missoula

An Argument for Drawing, a new exhibition on the current state of the all-but-forgotten art of drawing, ranging from the traditional to the conceptual. Includes the work of regional artists like Kristi Hagar, Catherine Courtneye and Sandra Del Pogetto, and an interactive drawing station that lets you try your own hand at the craft. UM’s Gallery of Visual Arts

Opening this week, two MFA thesis exhibitions by painters Anthony Lott and Terrel Jones. Both shows open Thursday, Dec. 2 with an opening reception Friday, Dec. 3 from 5 to 7 p.m. They will be on display through Dec. 17. At UM’s Social Science Building. Call 243-2813.

University Center Gallery

UM Art Annex

15th Annual Christmas Sale and Juried Show, sponsored by the Starving Sculpture and Ceramics Students of the University of Montana.
